Shipping Policy:

DjembeWorks ships internationally via DHL. We ship directly from Accra, Ghana. Please contact us for expedited shipping options.

Any applicable duties and taxes will be assessed upon delivery, to be paid by the order recipient for international purchases. 

At this time we are unable to ship directly to APO/FPO/DPO addresses. If you have a U.S. Territory or APO/FPO/DPO address and prefer to receive your orders at that address, we recommend the use of a third-party forwarding service that can be contracted to forward your DjembeWorks orders to an APO/FPO/DPO address for a fee.

On average, orders arrive to the destination address in 7-12 business days.​

 

Item Availability:

Unless otherwise noted, all items available for purchase on the website are in stock. When a purchase is made, drums are shipped as fast as they can be packaged. If a (customized) drum is ordered that is not currently in stock or storage, it will be created within 5 business days and then shipped.

Items that are back-ordered for much later delivery contain a note indicating this fact as well as the expected delivery time frame. This tends to be for our upcoming/future range of drums.

All back-order and special order items are subject to a 15% re-stock fee if you decide, for whatever reason, not to follow through with the purchase when the merchandise becomes available for shipment.

If we determine that we will not be able to deliver an order within the promised time-frame, we will immediately contact you via email.

Returns & Refunds:

We unconditionally guarantee all unused or defective merchandise for 30 days from the receipt of shipment. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return or exchange any unused or defective merchandise for a prompt refund or exchange. 

Your form of payment will be credited for the price of item less the shipping unless the product is determined defective. Your credit will appear after we have received and processed your returned item through our return procedure.

If the return is not a result of an error by DjembeWorks, you will be responsible for all shipping costs, duties and taxes incurred for the order and return of the product(s). You must send your return using a reliable international carrier that offers tracking (such as EMS, UPS, FedEx, TNT, or DHL). It is strongly recommended that you insure the package, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all items arrive at the our returns center in their original condition.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Refunds will not be issued if the returned products have been damaged or altered in any way before arriving at our returns center.

No refunds will be available after the 30-day returns period has expired.
